Hi! I’m Dr. Paul
I’m Dr. Paul Larez (Ph.D., CA PSY 34102), a licensed clinical psychologist and the founder of REVIVE Psychology for Men — a therapy space dedicated to helping men and couples heal, reconnect, and grow.
With over a decade of experience, I’ve walked alongside hundreds of clients through some of life’s most difficult terrain: sexual addiction, betrayal trauma, complex PTSD, spiritual abuse, and high-pressure expectations that often come with success. Whether you’re navigating relationship pain, struggling in silence with compulsive behaviors, or just feeling disconnected from who you are — you don’t have to do it alone.
As a 3rd-generation Mexican-American, I care deeply about creating a space where men of all backgrounds can show up honestly and feel seen without shame. My approach is warm, trauma-informed, and rooted in deep respect for your story. I integrate attachment-based psychodynamic therapy with evidence-based methods like EMDR, CBT/ACT, and the Gottman Method, tailored to your goals and values.
I’ve trained at top universities such as USC, Pepperdine, Biola, and Baylor University, taught university courses on human sexuality and trauma, and led therapy groups for men working through sexual compulsivity and relational recovery. But more than any credential, what matters most is how I show up for you: grounded, curious, and fully in your corner.
I started REVIVE because I believe healing happens when you feel safe to be real—and strong enough to change what’s no longer working.
If that sounds like the kind of support you’re looking for, I’d be honored to work with you.
